I have an expertise of teaching, training and research in Social Sector (Development, Education and Health).
Academically, I possess an M. Phil and Ph. D. in Anthropology from Delhi University, for which I had carried out an extensive fieldwork among the indigenous population of Central India with the focus on ‘Socio- Cultural change’ and ‘impact of Planned Development on the socio-cultural lives of the natives’.
I have experience of carrying out empirical research in Tribal, Rural and Slum/Urban areas in various parts of India and have presented research papers in several National and International Seminars and few of them have also been published. I have two published books and few research papers and a book under preparation.
Since 1998 after completing my Doctorate, I have worked almost equally in research bodies, Non Profit Organizations as well as prestigious B Schools at middle and senior levels. Preference-wise my responsibilities included research, teaching and training respectively in Social Sector (Education, Health and Development).
In teaching, I have experience in classroom and online teaching and coordinating courses for PGDM/PGDBM/MBA students in Development Management/ Social Sector Management, Communication, Sociology (of News) and Corporate Social Responsibility in well-known B-Schools and courses in Social Sector for the working professionals. I had also coordinated few Training Programmes. I had been Visiting Professor to Mahidol University, Thailand during June-July, 2010. Also, I got selected as Associate Professor in Anthropology in a University in Africa.
Presently, I am working as Reader (Associate Prof.) in Soc. Sc. in a University in Africa.
